Different Types of Diabetic Retinopathy?

Non-Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy (NPDR)

This type of Diabetic Retinopathy occurs at the early stage of the condition. It happens when high blood sugar weakens the tiny blood vessels in the retina.

 

In this stage, the blood vessels may:

  • Leak fluid or blood
